We celebrated our Kindergarten through 4th grade students with Awards Day yesterday! We are so proud of all that they have accomplished this year.

We had a blast with the Bailey Mountain Cloggers from Mars Hill University yesterday! THANK YOU to the Stokes County Arts Council for arranging for them to come perform for our Bulldogs! They are always so fun to watch!

We recognized our fifth grade students and all of their amazing accomplishments today with recognition and awards. 👏 Thank you to our guest speaker, Mr. Jacob Harbour, Assistant Principal at Piney Grove Middle School. We wish you all the best of luck at Piney Grove next year! Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog! We hope you've had the time of your life.💙

Bulldogs are GENIUSES🧠, Bulldogs are BRIGHT💡, and our Bulldogs are NOT GOING TO SWEAT THE TEST👟! We had our EOG parade this afternoon with support from our community members and families to celebrate K-2 finishing their assessments and to energize our 3-5 students for their EOGs over the next few days! We had such a great turnout and we know our students are ready to ROCK THE TEST! Go Bulldogs! You've got this!

Congratulations are in order for our Battle of the Books team once more! We placed second in the Elementary Finals competition today. Way to go, Bulldogs! We have had so much fun bonding and reading together. We are sad to see this season come to an end, but so very proud of our team and celebrating our hard work! We are already looking forward to next year!

Congratulations to our Bulldogs for placing first in our North district Battle of the Books competition against Lawsonville and Nancy Reynolds yesterday! Afterwards, we all celebrated and ate lunch together. It was so much fun to get to know our new friends that we will get to know even better next year! We are very proud of these students for reading and working hard. Our team will travel to Nancy Reynolds on Monday for the SCS District Elementary Finals against King and Walnut Cove Elementary.

Mrs. Young's kindergarten class enjoyed more guest readers this week! Thank you to School Board member Cheryl Knight and School Board Chairman Von Robertson for visiting our school and sharing a story with our Bulldogs.
