Good evening, Bulldog families. Tomorrow is the big day, the first day of the 26-27 school year.! I have a few reminders about procedures. If you are bringing your child as a car rider, turn on the service road at the big tree past the school and playground on Amostown Road and drive around to the side of the building. Wait for staff members to come out at 6:55 AM before releasing your student. They will monitor your child for safety; however, you will need to provide assistance to your child, if it is needed, in exiting the car. First through fifth graders will go to the cafeteria for breakfast and to wait for dismissal to the classrooms. Kindergarten students will go directly to the classrooms. There will be additional staff members in the hallway to help them get to the correct rooms.
Our bus route schedule could be as much as 20-30 minutes earlier or later than the time you were given yesterday at open house due to additions to the route. For the next few days, please keep this in mind. I apologize for the variation and can assure you that within a few days, it will smooth out. Our buses will begin to arrive at school somewhere around 6:45 and will pull up to the front entrance of the school, two rows deep. You will not be able to park in or drive through the front parking lot. Kindergarten parents, if you are bringing your child for their staggered day and would like to walk them in, park in the field across the street from the school and walk them across. I will have a quick paper sign-in, then you may walk them to their classroom. Kindergarten students will eat breakfast later, as a class, so their teachers can go over cafeteria procedures.
Dismissal will begin at 2:00 PM. Buses will leave first, then we will start calling cars. We need two rows for the car line all the way around so cars are not out in the road. We will call the car on the left then the car on the right, alternating until everyone is called. Pull up to the numbered spot where you see your child waiting for you. We will load 5 to 6 students at a time. Wait for the cars in front of you to load and pull out before you pull forward.
I am looking forward to a great day with your students! Make sure they get a good night's rest.

Good evening, Bulldog families. I have just a few reminders for this week. Tomorrow night is the fifth grade banquet for those who have signed up. Please only bring the number, which includes the student, that you signed up to bring. Thursday, May 14 is our EOG Parade at 12:45. We will be cheering on our third through fifth graders as they prepare to take the End of Grade assessments. Families are invited to join us. Then, our first EOG will be Friday. Students will take the Math EOG. They will need a good night's rest and a stress-free morning to be at their best. Be sure students arrive on time. As always, breakfast will be available in the cafeteria. Let's make it a great week, Bulldogs!
Good afternoon, Bulldog families. Our fourth and fifth grade students on the field trip should arrive at the school between 4:45 and 5:00 PM. The buses will park in the staff parking lot. Thank you.
Good evening, Bulldog families. I have two messages. The first is for parents of kindergarten through third grade students who are participating in the musical "Hats" on Tuesday evening:
If your child has a speaking part, please help them practice and be ready for the performance. The show will be at 5:30 P.M. in the gym. All are welcome to attend. If your child has turned in a permission form to be in the musical, drop your child off at the front door at 5:15 so Mrs. Gregory can get the students organized to walk together to the gym. Then you may go ahead to the gym to get a seat.
The second message is for parents of fourth and fifth graders participating in the field trip tomorrow:
The bus will arrive at the school at 5:30 a.m. It will depart from the school at 6:00 a.m. We will not wait, so please be on time. If you miss the bus, you will not be refunded your money.
Please park across the road, not in front of the Little Debbie’s building but on the other side of the tree. You may also park in the front parking lot, but not the staff parking lot. There is also parking down at the gravel lot by the gym. Teachers will be at the front to let everyone in and use the bathroom and pick up breakfast for students only.
If you signed up for your child to pack their lunch, then please remember to send it. Please pack snacks and lunches separately, so we can store lunches under the bus. This will make for more room at your seats. Remember, that all drinks need to have a screw on lid.
Students do not have to sit in a seat with their parent, but we would prefer they sit near you if they aren’t sitting with you.
After another look at the weather it will now be around 55 degrees. Please dress accordingly, because it may be even colder when we go to the swinging bridge.
We will arrive back at the school at approximately 5:30. If your child is going alone, then we will call if we are running late or early.
Thank you all and we will see you tomorrow!

This is just to ensure everyone receives word that the Little Debbie fundraiser items are to be picked up today from 4:00-6:00 PM at the school gym. If you are not able to pick up your student's order during that time, please contact the school to arrange a different pick up time. Thank you.
Good morning. There has been some confusion about the PTO Tie Dye event this afternoon. This event is for students in grades kindergarten through second grade only. There will be a separate event for students in grades three through five at a later date. Parents, if you are planning to help at the event, please make other arrangements for your children who are not in kindergarten through second grade due to the limited number of supplies that have been purchased and the need to monitor and assist the students attending. Thank you for your understanding.
Good afternoon, Bulldog families. This is a reminder to turn in Little Debbie orders and money tomorrow. Remember, anyone selling 15 boxes gets a Bulldog toy and anyone selling 25 boxes gets the Bulldog toy and a ticket to the pizza and dance party. The orders should be in next week. Wednesday is the kindergarten registration from 8:00 to 11:00 A.M., if you know anyone who might need that information. Our Third Quarter grading period ends on Friday. Report cards will go home on the 25th. Finally, we are still looking for sign ups for our Title One Curriculum Night on March 19. We would love for your family to attend. There will be math and reading information, games and take home activities, the book fair, and free concessions of hot dogs, nachos, peanuts, and drinks. It will be a fun night and we hope you will join us. Have a great rest of your evening.
Good evening, Bulldog families. Tomorrow, we will run the same bus schedule as this morning. Look for a bus about the same time it arrived this morning to pick up your child. Thank you for your understanding and have a good night.
Good evening. Bus 64 will continue to be out. Your child will ride the same bus he or she did this morning. The bus could be up to ten minutes early, so please watch for the bus in the morning. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility. Have a good night.
Good afternoon, Bulldog Families! Tomorrow will be a school day for students due to the need to make up weather days missed. March 2nd and 3rd will also be student days. Thank you and see you tomorrow.
